Description
- PymTech Remastered — Major Update
- New Pym Regulation System
The PymTech particle system has been completely redesigned!
- Pym Regulator Belt

The Pym Regulator Belt is now responsible for storing and controlling Pym particles.
- Added the Pym Regulator Belt.
- The belt occupies the Curios: Belt slot.
- Compatible with all Pym suits.
- Stores two separate particle reserves:
- 🔴 Red Pym Particles — used to shrink.
- 🔵 Blue Pym Particles — used to grow.
- Maximum storage depends on the equipped suit:
- Classic Suit: 100
- Mark I: 150
- Mark II: 200
- Mark III: 250
- Without the belt, size-changing abilities cannot be used.
- Removing the belt while transformed forces the player back to normal size.
- The belt's central regulator changes color according to the player's current size:
- 🔴 Red: Small
- 🔴🔵 Red/Blue: Normal
- 🔵 Blue: Giant
- The regulator also features an emissive glow that responds to the amount of Pym particles stored.
- New Pym Manufacturing System

Pym particles now have their own dedicated manufacturing process.
Instead of crafting the particles directly, they must be produced through a multi-stage process.
- Pym Synthesizer
The first stage of Pym particle production.
The Pym Synthesizer combines basic materials to create Unstable Pym Compound.
Recipe
1× Redstone + 1× Copper Ingot + 1× Amethyst Shard + 1× Lapis Lazuli + 1× Iron Ingot
⬇️
2× Unstable Pym Compound
- Pym Stabilizer
The unstable compound must then be stabilized before it can be used.
The Stabilizer features two independent production lines:
🔴 Red Output
Produces Red Pym Particles, used for shrinking.
🔵 Blue Output
Produces Blue Pym Particles, used for growing.
Both variants can be produced at the same time.
- Pym Encapsulator
Once stabilized, the particles can be placed into the Pym Encapsulator together with an Empty Pym Capsule.
The result is the final capsule used to supply the Pym Regulator Belt.
- 🔴 Red Pym Particle → Red Pym Capsule
- 🔵 Blue Pym Particle → Blue Pym Capsule
🔧 Other Changes
- Removed particle storage from the armor itself.
- The Pym Regulator Belt now handles Pym particle storage.
- Improved machine interfaces and visual feedback.
- Improved visual feedback when using Pym particles.
- Improved the overall PymTech progression.
🐜 PymTech Remastered
Think small. Think big. Think Pym.
------------------
• There is now a "Limiter" for the giant mode. After spending 30 seconds in giant form, you will start to feel nauseous and take damage. After another 10 seconds, you will automatically revert to normal size and face a 5-minute cooldown before you can become a giant again. This cooldown can be avoided by returning to the normal size before the automatic change.
• Mobs affected by the red or blue discs will experience specific effects: shrinking results in negative effects, while growing results in positive effects.
• The giant form can now jump two blocks high and has an increased melee attack range, allowing it to hit enemies on the ground.
• The experimental ant mount has been removed, though that doesn't mean it won't return in future updates.
• When small, you will no longer be detected by Sculk Sensors, even if you aren't crouching.
PymTech Remastered
Become the Ant-Man and master the power of Pym Particles!
PymTech Remastered is an Ant-Man inspired mod for Minecraft 1.20.1 Forge focused on making size-changing an actual gameplay mechanic rather than a simple visual effect.
Shrink down to explore the world from an entirely new perspective, grow into a giant to overpower enemies, command ants through your suit, develop Pym technology and progressively build more advanced suits.
- Size Changing
Size changing is the core of PymTech Remastered.
Shrink to a fraction of your normal size or grow into a towering Giant-Man. Transformations are smoothly animated and accompanied by Pym Particle effects instead of instantly switching between sizes.
Being small or giant also changes how you play:
- Tiny form improves mobility, stealth and survivability against explosions.
- Giant form provides increased strength and resistance.
- Different combat bonuses apply depending on your current size.
- Pym Momentum rewards switching from tiny back to normal during combat.
- Creatures can also be shrunk or enlarged using Pym Particle Discs.
- Pym Particle Technology
Pym Particles aren't unlimited in Survival Mode.
Your suit HUD keeps track of your available particles, while the Pym Regulator controls the technology responsible for safe size changing.
Red and Blue Pym Discs can also be thrown at creatures to manipulate their size remotely.
- Ant-Man Suits
Build your first Ant-Man suit and progressively upgrade your technology.
Each generation offers improved protection, combat capabilities and larger Pym Particle reserves.
The current progression includes:
Classic Ant-Man → Ant-Man I → Ant-Man II → Ant-Man III
Additional suits are also available for testing in Creative Mode.
Modern suits include systems such as a functional opening helmet, Night Vision and sealed underwater life support.
- Ant-Man Combat
You don't need to carry a sword to fight as Ant-Man.
The suit enhances unarmed combat, allowing you to fight using punches while taking advantage of your size.
Shrink during combat, evade enemies and return to normal size to activate Pym Momentum, delivering a powerful follow-up strike.
Or become Giant-Man and rely on raw strength and resistance.
- Pym Ant Network
Ant-Man can now communicate directly with ants!
While wearing a complete Pym suit, activate the Pym Ant Network to recruit nearby ants. Connected ants will follow you, assist during combat and protect you from attackers.
Want a permanent companion?
Give an ant Sugar to form a unique bond with it. A bonded ant becomes your personal companion, gains significantly increased health and remains with you even after the temporary Ant Network is disabled.
Bonded ants can:
- Follow or wait on command.
- Fight alongside you.
- Defend you from attackers.
- Be healed using Sugar.
- Receive additional protection and health.
- Be tracked through the suit's Ant Network HUD.
The HUD also displays how many temporary ants and permanent companions are currently connected to your network.
- Survival Progression
PymTech Remastered includes its own Survival progression and advancement tree.
Discover unstable Pym technology, construct the Synthesizer, manufacture particles, build a regulator and eventually become Ant-Man.
Early Ant-Man progression is designed around Overworld resources, allowing the technology to become accessible without requiring Nether, End or boss materials.
- Controls
