Apiary and Honey is a mod that adds bees and beekeeping to Minecraft. Unlike other mods which add bees, Apiary and Honey aims to have a more realistic representation of beekeeping than other mods may provide.
 
  • Rule no.1 - Bees can sting
  • Rule no.2 - Bees will swarm if you break their hive
  • Rule no.3 - Swarming bees are more likely to sting
The first items you will want to craft to allow you to interact safely with the bees in this mod, is a beekeeper's outfit. Like regular armour the beekeeper's outfit will protect against damage from regular Minecraft mobs and some mobs from other mods, however the beekeeper's outfit will protect you from all damage caused by bees. Bees will still try and sting you when you wear the outfit, which will cause damage. You may need to repair your beekeeper's outfit after interacting with the bees.
