Description

Enchanted Pearl - Apotheosis Fix

Enchanted Pearl - Apotheosis Fix is a lightweight compatibility patch for Minecraft 1.19.2 (Forge) that resolves a major mechanical conflict between Enigmatic Legacy and Apotheosis.

🔍 The Conflict Explained

In standalone Enigmatic Legacy, the Enchanter's Pearl (when equipped in a Curios slot by "The Cursed One") is designed to allow players to use the Enchanting Table without needing or consuming any lapis lazuli.

However, Apotheosis completely overhauls the enchanting system, replacing the vanilla enchanting menu with its own custom container (ApothEnchantmentMenu). Because of this overhaul, Enigmatic Legacy's standard injections are bypassed. As a result, players are still forced to provide and consume lapis lazuli, rendering the Enchanter's Pearl completely non-functional when both mods are installed.

🛠️ The Solution

This mod seamlessly bridges the two mods together using highly optimized Mixins:

  • It intercepts the lapis validation checks directly inside Apotheosis's custom enchanting screen.
  • If the active player has the Enchanter's Pearl equipped, the table will allow enchanting completely lapis-free.
  • Smart Preservation: If you happen to leave real lapis lazuli inside the table's slot, the mod will protect it from being consumed as long as the Pearl is active.

✨ Key Features

  • Perfect Compatibility: Restores the intended behavior of the Enchanter's Pearl within the overhauled Apotheosis enchanting system.
  • Lapis Protection: Real lapis left in the slot is completely preserved and never consumed.
  • Safe Implementation: Does not physically manipulate item stacks in container slots, preventing desyncs, item duplication bugs, or container inventory glitches.
  • Lightweight: Designed with performance in mind, executing only when the player clicks the enchantment buttons.

⚠️ Requirements & Installation

  • Must be installed on both the Client and the Server to prevent visual interface locks and ensure proper packet synchronization.
  • Requires ApotheosisEnigmatic Legacy, and Curios API to be installed.
