Apotheosis Malum Compat bridges Apotheosis gem socketing with Malum's soul-shattering magic.

Works with Apotheosis and Malum.

What does this mod do?

In base Malum, extracting spirits requires wielding dedicated soul-shattering weapons like scythes or staves. Standard swords and weapons cannot expose souls or harvest spirits on their own.

This mod introduces the Spirit Hunter gem to Apotheosis. Socketing it into any melee weapon grants it soul-harvesting capabilities, exposing enemy souls on strike and increasing the amount of spirits harvested based on the gem's purity.

The Spirit Hunter Gem

1. Soul Exposing on Strike

Every melee attack dealt with a socketed weapon exposes the target's soul. When the target dies while exposed, it drops its innate Malum spirits as if slain with a soul-shattering scythe.

2. Spirit Spoils Scaling

The gem grants Malum's native Spirit Spoils attribute, scaling from +1 (Cracked) up to +6 (Perfect). In Malum, each point of Spirit Spoils adds an extra spirit to the mob's drops upon death.
