Global Quests

Global Quests is a lightweight, powerful addon for FTB Quests designed for Minecraft 1.21.1 (Fabric). It bridges individual player progress with community-driven goals, allowing server communities or singleplayer worlds to track progress server-wide.

Core Features

  • Server-Wide Progress Tracking: Link any standard FTB Quests task to a Global Task. Every time any player or team completes the tracked sub-quest, the global counter increases.

  • Full FTB Quests UI Integration: Custom tasks blend seamlessly into the native FTB Quests interface, displaying live progress bars (current / target) right where players expect them.

  • Milestone Rewards & Broadcasts: Configure milestones that automatically unlock and reward everyone on the server or trigger custom global broadcast messages when community goals are reached.

  • Optional Auto-Reset: Enable auto-reset behavior to clear sub-quest completions automatically once a target is met, creating infinite, repeatable global progression loops.

  • Singleplayer & Multiplayer Compatibility: Built with robust thread-safe storage and live synchronization to ensure smooth performance whether you are playing solo or hosting a crowded multiplayer server.

How It Works

  1. Create a regular quest to act as your Sub-Quest (e.g., crafting 1,000 iron ingots).

  2. Add a new Global Task to a separate progression tree and input the Hex ID of the sub-quest.

  3. Set your target count, configure optional milestone rewards or auto-resets, and watch your community collaborate to hit server-wide goals!
