APS Gadgets

A Cobblemon addon with a Minior-themed weapon, a set of admin tools, and an async explosion engine for very large blasts.

Requires Minecraft 1.21.1, Fabric Loader, Fabric API, Fabric Language Kotlin and Cobblemon 1.8.1 or newer. Install it on both the client and the server.

Minior Staff

A 3D staff with a Minior floating in its centre. The Minior spins continuously, and the staff’s spikes flare up each time it fires.

• Left-click launches an explosive Minior in the direction you’re looking. The projectile is rendered with the real Cobblemon Minior model.
• Right-click opens the configuration screen:
  • Projectile size: 0 to 16×
  • Projectile speed: 0 to 10×
  • Explosion radius: 0 to 500
  • Cooldown: 0 to 10 seconds, 0 by default
  • Block damage: an on/off toggle; with it off, blasts only hurt entities
  • Spawn Minior on impact: an on/off toggle that spawns a wild Minior in a random colour where the shot lands
  Settings are saved on your client and synced to the server.
• Meteor Shower (button in the config screen): Miniors of random size and colour fall from the sky around the target and explode on impact. The blasts never damage blocks. You choose the duration and can start it on yourself. Admins can also start it on any player or on everyone.

Explosion Engine

Large explosions are handled by a built-in async engine, so huge blasts don’t freeze the server. Explosions below the engine’s power threshold stay vanilla. The engine is configurable.

These are meant for server administrators.

Sacred Text

The Book of Death. Operators pick an online player from a menu, and that player dies. It does nothing to players who aren’t in survival mode.

Blessed Scroll

Usable by anyone. A player writes a message on it, and the message is delivered in secret to one specific player only. It isn’t shown in chat or logged.
