Arboria Resurrected

Arboria is a world generation mod that improves most vanilla Overworld biomes. The mod's goal is to aesthetically overhaul the world without changing the progression too much.

Features

Arboria adds:

  • Better-looking trees
  • Lakes and ponds in most biomes
  • Occasional boulders and rocks
  • More ground variation (for example, coarse dirt mixed with grass)
  • Tiny islands in oceans
  • Many biome-specific features

The mod doesn't change:

  • Tree type distribution (for example, acacia trees only generate in savanna biomes)
  • Flower and plant distribution (for example, blue orchids can only grow in swamps)
  • Biome layout
  • Terrain shape (mountains aren't higher or lower)
  • Biome grass color, water color, or sky color

What's the difference between this and the original?

  • Various changes to trees
  • Changes to the noise generation of trees and features to make them more vanilla-friendly and mod-friendly
  • New features for the End, including bigger End Ships
  • More features coming soon!
