Description

title

-What's in the mod- Arcane artifacts is a remaster of one of my first mods; Minecraft Dungeons artifacts and more. It allows players to harness the power of soul to their advantage. With over 26 different artifacts, and over 100 in total (including different rarities), it provides the player with new experiences and different tools to aid them in general.

Each artifact comes in four different rarities:

  • Common
  • Rare
  • Unique
  • Void Each provides different boosts, some dealing direct damage, others providing utility use, and some inbetween. Each artifact presents the player with a description, displaying damage, cooldown time and information about the artifact. desc Any buffs the player are using will also be applied in the description, such as damage boosts displaying the damage increase.
Obtaining the artifacts

Of course, you need a way to obtain these tools. The main way is to wish. This is a custom gacha system, providing the player with a chance to get any artifact. If you aren't familiar with a gacha system, here's a quick rundown.

Per wish, the user has a chance to get either a common, rare or unique artifact, each having different drop rates. The more the user wishes, the higher chance to obtain better artifacts and when the user reaches 150 pity, they will get a guaranteed unique artifact. Pity can be increased per wish by either using better wishing spirits or by having soulcatchers in your curios slots. Wishes are also made after sleeping. wish

Void artifacts, the strongest versions, are obtained through upgrading unique artifacts in a smithing table. Currently, there are two unique structure artifacts that can only be obtained in the structure; the Desert Temple and the Ancient City.

Soul Value

Each entity has a value to their soul. For players, this begins at 20. Killing entites can increase the soul value, increasing it dependant on health. After, the next time the player sleeps your soul will be evaluated. After evaluation, if the player's soul has reached a certain value or above, they will be rewarded. After, the user's soul value is reset and their goal value increased. This is also the only way to obtain void upgrade templates (currently), which upgrade unique artifacts to their void counterparts.

The Void

void The void is a dimension below the bedrock. It can be accessed by crafting a pickaxe with soulless steel, obtained around bedrock level, and using it to break cracked bedrock. Currently, the void is completely empty other than rifts to escape. In future, this will be greatly expanded on.

Weapons

This mod adds two new weapons, the bane and the cleaver. The cleaver, when killing mobs, is used to gain soul stars and wishes from the entity. The bane, however, acts as a meelee weapon, with the added bonus; just before being hit, swinging your bane can parry the attack, if timed correctly.
