Arcanum — The Wizarding World

Arcanum brings a world of wizardry to Minecraft: cast spells with wands, get sorted by the Sorting Hat, fly a broom, fight the forces of darkness… and uncover the secret of Platform 9¾.

✨ Magic & Wands

• 9 wands of increasing power (Oak → Elder).
• Learn spells from the Grimoire, pick them with the spell wheel (press R) and cast: fire, healing, lightning, levitation, shield, poison, explosions, Avada Kedavra…
• Sorting Hat: a quiz sorts you into your house.
• Flying broom to soar across the sky.
• Polyjuice to disguise yourself.

🧙 Characters & Creatures

• Lord Voldemort — a fearsome boss with a boss bar and an aura of darkness.
• Harry, Ron and Hermione — allied wizards who fight monsters at your side.
• Ollivander — the wand merchant.
• Dementors and Dark Mages that roam at night.
• Hippogriff — a majestic beast you can tame (raw chicken) then ride and fly!
• Basilisk — a giant serpent that petrifies you with a single glance and spits venom.
• Mandrake — a living plant that screams when you pull it from the ground.

🗿 Petrification & Antidote

Look the Basilisk in the eyes… and you'll be petrified (stone-grey screen, frozen in place). The cure? Brew a Potion of Depetrification in a brewing stand (water bottle + Mandrake) and drink it.

🚂 Platform 9¾ & Hogwarts

Find the train station (rare structure) and its Platform 9¾: run into the central archway… and you're teleported to the Wizarding World dimension! There, a huge castle sits high on a plateau, and below lies the village of Hogsmeade with its shops.

• King's Cross Station (rare) · Azkaban · Wizard Towers · Ruined Huts.
• In the dimension: the Hogwarts Castle + Hogsmeade.

🎮 Getting started

1. Craft or buy a wand (Wand Shop / Ollivander).
2. Use the Sorting Hat, then the Grimoire to learn spells.
3. Hold R with a wand to open the spell wheel.
4. Explore, find Platform 9¾, and head to Hogwarts!
