Welcome to Archaion - a mod that tells the story of the mysterious ancients' last stand against a unknown threat and their eventual downfall. Discover the remnants that were left behind after the greatest crisis in the history of this world.

The Ancient Keep

The final fort of the Ancients to fight off the disaster - a complex multi-room structure called the Ancient Keep that operates similarly to a Trial Chamber. Throughout your journey within this keep, you are bound to encounter harsh challenges and great adversities. You will also be able to unlock and loot various treasures and new items!

The Deepslate Trials

The Ancient Keep holds a challenge where you must fight multitudes of new custom enemies each with a quirk of their own. Upon clearing enough of them, you can obtain the Echo Key, used to open the Deepslate Vault - where you can obtain powerful items such as food, materials, and enchantments.

Boss: The Last of Deepslate

When obtaining enough Echo Charges from the vaults, you can wake up the slumbering machine hidden inside the Keep - a Last of Deepslate. Fight the mech upon waking it up, with multiple complex systems backing its every move. Slay it to obtain a powerful template used to make a very strong weapon!

LOCATING THE ANCIENT KEEP

- You can search for the Ancient Keep by using the Keep Map found in Ancient City chests.

LAST OF DEEPSLATE BOSSFIGHT RECOMMENDATIONS

- Fully Enchanted Diamond Gear (Preferrably with Protection IV, prepare for armor durability breaking)
- Breeze Charge (Heavily recommended for Phase II and above)
- Shield (Enchant with unbreaking or prepare backups)
- Bow / Any Other Ranged Weapon



LAST OF DEEPSLATE BOSSFIGHT NOTE/S: 

- The boss is very much stronger in hard difficulty compared to medium.
- Be very careful when using the Mace, it has a counter-attack that deals insane damage when timed poorly.
- You will die multiple times!

Will there be a 1.20.1 Backport?

- There are no current plans in porting the mod back to 1.20.1 as there is no porper Trial Chamber + Mace backport mod just yet, however, if there is one, we WILL definitely backport this mod.

Will there be a Fabric Port?

- There are no current plans in porting this mod to Fabric.

Can I do these ports myself unofficially and upload it?

- You CANNOT make unofficial port uploads of this mod. However, if you can do these ports, you may contact RatRod or AquTheSeal and we can discuss about it.
