Summary

Archipelago Additions is an expansion for the Isle of Berk mod which adds many additional dragons. This is facilitated by Nord_Act's Isle of Berk Variant Loader, which allows us to add remodelled variants of existing dragons without replacing those which are already present. This means, however, that some abilities may be mismatched to those from the HTTYD franchise.

Additionally, you can find many HTTYD related Items, Armours, Weapons, Blocks, Plants, Entities & more! 

Furthermore, Archipelago Additions includes a built in resource pack for reskins of vanilla features, such as an IoB themed GuI & turning pillagers into Dragon Hunters!

Details

• Improved Animations, new Variants, and better Rider position for all 12 base IoB Dragons
• 48 new dragon species from the HTTYD Franchise, including 2 from the books & 6 official Hybrids!
• 5 new non-official Hybrid Dragon Species & 1 entirely new species!
• Over 1000+ different dragon variants across the board!
• New Dragon Abilties & Interactions; such as Whispering Death Burrowing & reworked Gronckle Iron acquisition.
• New Entities such as Eels, Giant Screaming Eels, Dragon Hunters, & even Trader Johann!
• New Structures such as the enormous Dragon Hunter Flag Ship, Whispering Death Dens, and Sentinel Dragon graveyards!
• Many new weapons, from spears crafted with various Dragon Spines, to the weapons we all know and love from the movies and shows known here as Viking Artifacts! You can even craft your own Dragon Blade!
• 4 new armour sets, such as the Flight Suit, Woolly Howl Fur armour, Dragon Hunter & Dragon Hunter Plate armour! We also have the Dragonfly I as an alterantive to the Elytra

& so many more things such as Blocks, Trees, villager professions, shields, tools, items, effects, and so much more than can be listed here!

Install Requirements

Archipelago Additions requires Forge 40.2.10 or above & the following mods to be installed:

Geckolib (1.18.2-3.0.46)

Isle of Berk (1.18.2-1.2.0)

Isle of Berk Variant Loader (1.18.2-2.5.6)

Isle of Berk Addons (1.18.2-1.1d)

Additionally, for the new dragons to spawn correctly you'll need to install the modified configs AFTER loading Archipelago Additions for the first time (but BEFORE making your world!)

Archipelago Additions is a project made by LuckiestLycan (Lycanwing), Mqzikeen, SakuraBabochka, Gecko_sauce, DragonTamer, and Blue. It contains assets by Ness, Immersed, VLS, and Will (of the NBD (New Berk's Dawn) team), and MazingA, Roar, and SomeGuy (of the NBD community). Our license is and shall remain ARR, to protect these assets of which we have use and distribution permissions but not ownership. Most dragon models use IoB models as a base due to hardcoded rigging dependencies making it impractical to scratch model. Archipelago Additions  does not claim to have made these models, they were created by the IoB team and now belong to NBD. We are permitted use of these IoB base assets provided we remain as an addon to IoB and/or NBD and do not claim to have made them. These credits may change as necessary. They will always be correct to the most recent release of this mod. Archipelago Additions is also not affiliated with the official How to Train Your Dragon franchise or Dreamworks animation.
