Description

Weapon Set 1

*We recommend the use of GUI Scale 2 when using this mod, as some weapons have so many abilities that it is genuinely unreadable in high scalings.

Armamentarium is a mod that attempts to bring multiple high-quality weapon options to make every modded experience unique. It adds 40+ weapons, each with beautiful passive and active abilties to make every weapon's fighting style different in some way. Obtaining these weapons takes more than just collecting resources, requiring the use of Severing mechanic.

Your first goal will be to craft a Shotel of Severance or purchase one from a Wandering Trader, this unlocks several Basic Whetstones that can drop from specific mobs in specific conditions when killed with this weapon:

For example:

  • Emerald-Tipped Whetstone - Severed from a Vindicator named "Johnny"
  • Magma-Whipped Whetstone - Severed from a Magma Cube inside Powdered Snow.
  • Guardian-Spiked Whetstone - Severed after killing three Guardians shortly one after the other

To find out how to sever every other Whetstone, consult the Advancement Page for information.

Across the underground,  you will come across Greatalloy. This gold and black mixture holds the power to craft almost every single one of these weapons, aswell as providing a new set of armor and tools to use for survival. The ore is found underground in similar frequency to Diamond, although dropping nuggets.

Weapon Set 2

When killing the Wither, a new drop can be found: the Ambrosia. This item when consumed unlocks the ability to sever Advanced Whetstones from some mobs. The Ambrosia when drunk also gives some grapes, which can be made into vines of Glory and Agony to brew Potions, or craft few weapons. Weapons crafted using Advanced Whetstones require end-specific materials to be crafted, and are balanced as a vanilla endgame weapon.

Some examples are:

  • Heavenly Virtue's Shamshir - Angel-Stripped Whetstone severed from a Vex at Y=>250.
  • Mjolnir - Thunder-Charged Whetstone severed from a Creeper after you've been struck by lightning.

After drinking the Ambrosia, your next goal is to upgrade your Shotel of Severance into a Scythe of Severance. This unlocks the final tier of armaments: the Legendary Trinity.

Legendary Trinity

The Legendary Trinity is a collection of three boss-centered weapons, each with their own themes and playstyles ontop of 5-6 abilities, tailoring to a beautiful fighting style. These weapons are hard to obtain, requiring the use of a Scythe of Severance and killing already difficult bosses under certain world conditions.

  • The King's Cold Heart (for the Teraton Blackhammer) - Severed from an Elder Guardian in the Nether.

  • Sculk Patient Zero (for the Reaper of the Gaol) - Severed from a Warden exposed to sunlight.

  • Spine of a Death-Lord (for the Warspear of the Desecrator) - Severed from a Wither who has lived to
witness an Ender Dragon closeby at some point before it is killed.

Alongside the main item, you must search in the world for three items, which you can learn how to obtain from their item descriptions in the weapon's recipe. Obtaining one of these weapons unlocks the ability to obtain the final weapon: The Dragonslayer. When killing an Ender Dragon with a weapon form the Legendary Trinity, one may obtain the Mind of Jean, used to craft the ultimate weapon.

Dragonslayer

Across the Overworld and Nether you might come across Gaols, large monochromatic jails containing Imprisoned Souls. These tortured humans wear their legendary armor sets, and wield their respective weapon from the Legendary Trinity. Adam Holdsworth, the Conqueror, is found atop high mountains; Theron, the King's Grave Assassin, is found within deep overgrown Dark Oak and Taiga forests; and Damon XIV, the Prince of Death, is found buried deep within the depths of the Nether. These minibosses attempt to replicate the experience of fighting another player, so it's best to utilize weapons that negate or ignore Armor.

Tip: The Scorpion Queen's Rapier, Mariana Scepter, and the Holy Mourning Star are exceptional at ignoring Armor!

The Armor Sets (in order):

  • Armor of the Adamantine  - Defense-Focused Armor, used by Adam Holdsworth.
  • Lone Graveseeker's Armor - Speed-Focused Armor, used by Theron.
  • Death Prince's Armor - Attack-Focused Armor, used by Damon XIV.

The Three New Armor Sets
