Army Men

Build the battlefield. Position your armies. Bring your plastic soldiers to life.

Army Men turns Minecraft into a miniature military sandbox inspired by classic plastic army toys. Arrange a frozen diorama, assign teams, plan formations, and start the action when everything is ready.

Watch infantry exchange fire, tanks engage enemy armor, aircraft defend the skies, and warships battle across the water. Pause the action whenever you want, or reset the scene to restore your starting setup and try a different strategy.

Build your army

• 19 infantry sculpts, including riflemen, machine gunners, bazooka teams, mortar operators, radiomen, and paratroopers.
• 35 vehicles and emplacements, including tanks, helicopters, bombers, AA guns, artillery, destroyers, battleships, submarines, and aircraft carriers.
• Four army colors for organizing opposing forces.
• Animated model parts, sculpted projectiles, and distinct weapon effects.

Command the battlefield

Use the Battle Controller to start, pause, and reset your scene. Order ground forces to advance or hold position, set vehicle routes, and save reusable formations with the Formation Planner.

Choose a structured battle or use Continuous mode to keep the scene running until you stop it, even after one side is defeated.

Fight on land, at sea, and in the air

Transport squads, deploy paratroopers, support your troops with supply vehicles, and protect important positions with radar and air defenses.

Bomber defensive turrets independently track enemy aircraft and return fire with less accurate tracer rounds. Ordinary ground soldiers cannot target flying vehicles, and destroyed aircraft crash toward the ground.

Create your own diorama

Build defensive lines with sandbags and trenches, prepare airfields, and arrange the battlefield around your own terrain and structures. Toy combat leaves the landscape intact so you can replay your battles.
