Description
Aromara
Aromara is a Thaumcraft 6 addon inspired by the Miasma Theory, specifically the idea of fighting diseases (Taint/Flux/Warp) using various pleasant smells.
Featuring:
- Burning Scents - drying aromatic plants and burning them in braziers. Every scent behaves differently and may produce both beneficial and harmful effects.
- Imbuing Scents - creating scented oils with a multi-stage alchemical process and infusing tools and armor with "aromatic enchantments".
- Researching Scents - replacing standard grindy TC6 research with aspect riddles solved using the Servoscrivener, a new "research assistant" obtained through Crimson Cult portals.
Although Aromara remains relatively small, its mechanics are quite unusual within the gameplay of Thaumcraft. Instead of using already existing devices (e.g. the crucible or the infusion matrix), it introduces new machines (arcane brazier, candle vat, servoscrivener) that operate entirely in-world
