Ars Boundless

Removes the glyph limit of Ars Nouveau spell books.

Normally a spell can hold only 10 glyphs. With Ars Boundless you can keep adding glyphs to a single spell — 30, 150, or more — and every glyph works when the spell is cast.

Features

  • No glyph limit in the spell book screen.
  • Glyph slots are shown 10 per page. When the current page is full, an arrow appears; go to the next page and keep adding glyphs. Shift + mouse wheel also turns pages.
  • The page number ("3 / 15") is shown under the glyph slots.
  • Copy & paste of long spells works without being cut off (1.21.1).

Client-side only

  • Install it only on the client. It is not needed on the server, and you can join servers that don't have it.
  • Ars Nouveau itself has no spell length limit on the server side, so long spells are saved and cast normally.
  • Longer spells cost more mana, as usual.

Note for 1.16.5: Ars Nouveau 1.16.5 sends the whole spell as one text message when you press "Create", and that message has a size limit. A spell can hold about 4,700 glyphs (fewer if many glyphs have long names). If a spell is too long, it is not saved and a message is shown in chat, instead of disconnecting you.
