Astra Tweaks

Astra Tweaks is a small compatibility and tweak mod created for custom modpacks that use Ad Astra.

The main purpose of this mod is to separate oxygen mechanics from temperature mechanics.
By default, Ad Astra’s Oxygen Distributor not only provides oxygen, but also silently sets the surrounding area temperature to a safe value. This can conflict with modpacks that want oxygen and heat management to be two separate survival systems.

Astra Tweaks changes that behavior.

Why?

In some modpacks, surviving on the Moon should require both:

• breathable oxygen;
• a separate heat source.

With vanilla Ad Astra behavior, the Oxygen Distributor also removes cold danger by setting temperature automatically. This mod disables only that temperature-setting behavior, allowing modpack creators to design their own heating systems.

Notes

This mod does not remove oxygen distribution.
It only prevents the Oxygen Distributor from acting as a hidden heater.
