About
Description
Give each atlas its own map.
Atlasbound restores the classic item-bound exploration of Antique Atlas. Each physical atlas keeps its own explored terrain and markers. Carry it as you travel, then pass it to another player so they can continue the map.
Explore and share
- Every atlas in your inventory records the area around you.
- New atlases start with a blank map.
- Add markers with names, icons, and colors.
- Copy an atlas at a cartography table using a regular book. The original stays in place.
- Copies share one map. Exploration and marker changes made through either copy appear in both.
- Maps stay saved through world reloads and server restarts.
Atlas data is stored in the world save. The item carries its identity, so explored maps do not become large item-data files.
Requirements
NeoForge requires Sinytra Connector and Forgified Fabric API.
For multiplayer, install Atlasbound, Surveyor, and AA4 Atlas on both the client and server. Antique Atlas 4 is only needed on clients.
