Description
UPDATE - I probably won't be working on this project anytime soon, as I am currently focusing on my other mod (At_vlogs's Weaponry).
At_vlogs' Components heavily focus on slow progression, from oil found underground to duplicating ores. This description will double as a guide on making all these new items and discovering how they can be useful for you.
Step 1, Oil: Dig underground, preferably find large, open caves. You are looking for oil, which spawns between Y: -64 and Y: 35. The tool needed to mine this will be at least a stone shovel, and you will get 3 oil for every oil deposit block you mine.
Step 2, Distillation: Upon getting oil, you will need to distill it. You will do this by making flasks with a bottle and a piece of glass. Fill it with 2 oil, and now you have a flask full of oil. Now, you need to cure it using a blacklight. Get some coils, iron, and glass to make bulbs. You will then dye the bulbs purple. Use 3 iron and 3 blacklight bulbs to make the blacklight! Note that after every use of the blacklight, it will burn out and you will need to replace the blacklight bulbs. After putting the blacklight and flask with oil in the crafting table together, you will have access to powdered oil.
Step 3, Plastic: Mixing slime balls and purple dye gives you glue. You can mix glue with powdered oil to get plastic, which allows you to make even more things.
Step 4, Schematics & Advanced Workbenches: Combining paper and blue dye in a crafting table gives you a blueprint. You will use this later on when you have a pen, which we will talk about now. Using plastic, you can make a pen casing. Also be sure to use 2 coils to make a spring, and 5 iron nuggets to make a steel ball. Combining these 3 items will give you an inkless pen. Make an ink extractor with iron and glass, and combine it with an ink sack to fill it up with black ink. You can then combine the inkless pen with the ink to get a working pen! The pen is also 1 time use. Use it on the blueprints to make schematics. Next, you will need to make an advanced workbench with iron bars, an iron block, and cobblestone. This will be used to craft circuits and such.
Step 5, NOT COMPLETE! I'm still currently working on this mod, new updates coming soon!
