Description

Backpacked is a great mod by MrCrayfish but I always felt that it needed more Augments because there's never such a thing as too many. So I took it upon myself to add some of those useful ones that you see in other Backpack mods while still keeping it balanced to MrCrayfish's style. The mod currently adds 5 new augments, each of which is unique in of itself and provide a whole new way of utilizing the backpack with functionalities you've never seen before.
If you have any issue or have an idea for a new augment to add, leave a comment or create a new issue on the github!
Available for 1.21.1 & 1.21.11 Neoforge
Current Augments Added:
Gridlock
Gridlock is a powerful new augment that puts a crafting table directly in your backpack. What's better is that it doesn't require a grid! Simply search up the item you need to craft and it will craft it with items in your inventory (currently not working with items in backpack). Works very well on large modpacks with hundreds of crafting recipes too!
Switchup
Mining dirt with a shovel then suddenly hit stone? Need to chop wood but don't have an axe in your hotbar? Don't worry, the Switchup augment has your back. Switchup allows for you to switch the tool in your main hand with the correct one for the job! As long as a valid tool is found in the backpack (any axe, pickaxe or shovel) it will be swapped into your hand when you need it. For an extra bonus, Switchup only swaps tools that way your weapon never leaves your hands.
Gutquench
Oh this is probably my favorite one. Gutquench automatically consumes any food in your inventory when you're hungry. That seems pretty ordinary right? But Gutquench's speciality is how it determines what food to give you. In the Augment's settings you can pick between prioritizing the recovery of Hunger points (the meat icons) or Saturation (the amount of time before your hunger starts to drain). It also will only consume food if you are as hungry as the amount of hunger points/saturation the food item gives. No more wasting time eating on adventures, just load up your backpack with food and off you go.
Savestate
Savestate is perfect for those long expeditions where its just you, your backpack, and the dangerous wilderness. The augment keeps a record of your current xp up till the point you die. It can hold a maximum of 30 levels, which can be increased to 60 if Recall is also equipped. After death, requipping the backpack will give you back the amount of levels you had on death. Now, dying is less of a problem for losing those precious experience points!
Backtrack

Backtrack is the exact augment that everyone has needed at some point. You're lost somewhere on an expedition, no time to check coords, and all of a sudden you die to a creeper that has snuck up behind you. Well this solves the problem of finding your death location by creating a trail that leads you right to it! Its perfect for use with Savestate so that no matter where you die you can always track down and recover all of your items.
