About

Description

Bad Mod

Bad Mod is designed to make Minecraft worse... on purpose.

It adds intentionally annoying, unfair, and unreasonable features that create unexpected and often ridiculous situations. Everything is intentional, even if it feels unfair.

This mod is not designed to be balanced. It is designed to be fun, chaotic, and sometimes frustrating.

Features

  • Trying to eat bread causes all bread in your inventory to disappear.
  • Carrying any bucket other than an empty bucket slows you down.
  • Sending a chat message usually deals 2 damage. In Nightmare Mode, it deals 4 damage.
  • Using a hoe to till farmland immediately breaks the hoe.
  • Experience slowly decreases while you are sleeping. In Nightmare Mode, it decreases continuously.
  • Water and rain become dangerously hot and deal damage, while lava becomes cold.
  • Blocking an attack with a shield summons 3 Creepers. In Nightmare Mode, it summons 6 Creepers.
  • Catching something while fishing launches you high into the air.
  • The Ender Dragon is much stronger than normal.
  • Use the /nightmare command to enable Nightmare Mode.

Nightmare Mode

Nightmare Mode is a joke mode.

It is not intended to be a serious or balanced difficulty. Many mechanics are intentionally exaggerated, unfair, or completely ridiculous.

If something makes you say "Why?", that's probably the intended reaction.

Play Nightmare Mode if you want maximum chaos and don't mind a lot of suffering.
