About
Description
Bark utility is a mod where you can strip the bark from every tree with an axe or a bark cutter. A new scary
biome and a new structure have also been added. In the structure, you will find a new type of rare tree. When the bark is stripped with a bark cutter from any Tree, it will drop a bark based on a drop rate. It can drop 5 kinds of bark. Having a bark can give you access to some new craft, that will enhance your tools and make your game way easier than before. (Caution: DO NOT GO NEAR THE DEAD FOREST AT NIGHT).
Since this mod doesn't have a wiki all the information that you need can be found in items' descriptions, achievements, and recipes that can be unlocked in the crafting table book. So please consider paying attention to the item's description and the recipe book in the crafting table.
Main Features:
-Stripping a log with an axe gives a bark.
-Can turn a stripped log into a normal log with bark.
-Can drop 5 new types of bark with different rarity, All of those new barks can enhanced tools.
-Can enhance tools' durability, damage, efficiency, and sometimes speed with barks.
-New biome to explore.
-All recipes can be unlocked through achievements in the recipe book.
Other Features:
-New way to store and use XP.
-New useful tools.
-Some recipes need Notes to be unlocked.
-Notes can be found in the new biome.
-New tree.
Watch screenshots for more previews. More info is down below.
Special Tools:
The flowery tools are made with flowery bark and maybe a little hard to understand so let me explain:
-The flowery sword can be charged by holding right-click however it will consume a flat amount of its durability. When charged the next attack with that sword will deal tones of damage enough to one-shot a wither.
-The flowery pickaxe can place a flower that glows in the dark by holding right-click.
-The flowery axe when used gives Haste and speed but consumes a flat amount of durability.
-The flowery shovel can be charged by holding right-click. While charged it will mine a 3x3 area where you were mining but it will consume durability for each mined block and will give you permanent mining fatigue. To cancel the mining fatigue you will need to uncharged the shovel by right-clicking on it again.
Storing xp:
Time bottles are a new way to store xp. Their crafting recipes can be unlocked by finding notes or by cheating.
-The Warped Time bottle is a bottle that can store a lot of xp by holding right-click (reminder, when crafted the bottle is full). To release the xp just shift right-click on the ground.
-The Crimson Time bottle is a bottle that can store a small amount of xp by holding right-click. However, when released it will make an explosion proportional to the amount of xp stored in the bottle. The xp is not consumed but it will be released where you aimed the explosion (xp can be burned by fire).
Notes:
Notes can be found in the dead forest biome.
New tree:
The new tree named buloke tree can not be found in the world. However, its sapling spawns in the new structure named the tree monument. Its bark is the rarest in the game so don't transform it into planks pls.
Enhance tools:
Every tool higher than iron can be enhanced (tell me if you want gold too btw). Just surround it with barks in the crafting table and you will get an enhanced tool (if the tool is damaged it won't work).
