Better Default Zombies
No reviews yet
My take on Minecraft's zombies. Currently, it only adds one mob, the slow zombie. This mod is in very early development
Forge is a popular mod loader for versions 1.1+ of Minecraft.

About
Description
Minecraft's zombies are boring, let's fix that.
This mod plans to add a series of new mobs.
CURRENT MOBS
[Slow Zombies]
Revamps Minecraft's default zombie, making it reasonably slow while also reducing its hit range. But don't be fooled, this zombie has one heavy hit and is also very persistent.

PLANNED MOBS
Overworld
- slow zombie ✔ (information already added above.)
- fast zombie (not a runner) ❌
- crawler (two default variations planned) ❌
- biter (when the zombie bites you, it freezes you in place for a sec and inflicts you with poison and/or nausea) ❌
Nether
- scorched zombie ❌(with its scorched skin, it's desperate to take control of a victim, resulting in a quick yet weak enemy)
- magma zombie ❌(lava visually courses through it's vains, resulting in it inflicting fire upon its enemies.)
- Hell Crawler ❌(unlike the normal crawler, this one is much faster due to it's shockingly strong arms)
The End
- Ender Zombie (basically he can teleport.) ❌
Since the mod currently doesn't disable the default zombie on its own, I recommend using You Shall Not Spawn (YSNS)
You can either edit the disabled_entities.json5 file yourself or just paste this into the ysnp config folder. (mediafire link) (Note: Disabling certain mobs is extremely easy, so either method works perfectly fine.)
