Description

Beacon Enhancement

Beacon Enhancement is a Minecraft MITE (Minecraft Is Too Easy) mod that extends the vanilla beacon system with upgradable amplifier blocks.
By placing a crafted Beacon Amplifier directly under the beacon, you can greatly increase the effect range, and the amplifier itself can be upgraded through four tiers using Nether Stars.

Features

  • Adds 4 tiers of Beacon Amplifier blocks (Level 1–4) with distinct textures based on metal blocks (Iron, Ancient Metal, Mithril, Adamantium).
  • Amplifiers are recognized as valid beacon base blocks (treated as Emerald blocks) when placed directly below the beacon.
  • Multiplicative range boost:
Effective Range = Base Range × (Amplifier Level + 1)
(e.g., Level 4 gives the normal coverage area).
  • Progressive crafting recipes – each tier requires the previous tier plus an increasing number of Nether Stars.
  • Fully compatible with MITE survival balance – high cost for end‑game players.

Crafting Recipes

All recipes are shapeless (any arrangement in the crafting grid).

Result Ingredients
Beacon Amplifier Lv.1 1 Beacon + 2 Nether Stars
Beacon Amplifier Lv.2 1 Amplifier Lv.1 + 4 Nether Stars
Beacon Amplifier Lv.3 1 Amplifier Lv.2 + 6 Nether Stars
Beacon Amplifier Lv.4 1 Amplifier Lv.3 + 8 Nether Stars

Note: The amplifier must be placed exactly one block below the beacon (i.e., at y‑1) to take effect. The beacon's pyramid base can still be built with any standard blocks; the amplifier replaces the central bottom block.
