A compatibility mod to help Beryl's rendering pipeline work with supported Adreno GPU Android devices.

BerylDreno is a standalone Fabric compatibility mod that addresses Vulkan graphics-pipeline failures encountered when running Beryl on certain Qualcomm Adreno GPUs under Android.

It applies targeted modifications to Beryl's shader source in memory, changing how material information is transferred between vertex and fragment shaders. This is intended to improve compatibility with Adreno Vulkan drivers while preserving Beryl's graphical features, including lighting, shadows and material effects.

  • Patches terrain, translucent, block, entity and particle shaders.
  • Keeps the original Beryl and VulkanMod JARs unchanged.
  • Automatically detects Android devices with Adreno 8xx Vulkan GPUs.
  • Does not replace VulkanMod, install GPU drivers or guarantee increased performance.
