Beta Recobbled

Minecraft Beta Recobbled is an overhaul of b1.7.3 with the intent of fixing bugs and adding new content while maintaining the jank that made this version special.

Recommended method of install is by importing the MultiMC/Prism instance, though that is not available here due to Modrinth rules (it can be found in our discord server and website). The second-best method is to install the zip file from this page, and use the "add to Minecraft.jar" button on your b1.7.3 instance. Contrary to the tag on this post, BRC does not use risugami's modloader, though there is a port of Modloader specifically for Recobbled in our discord server if you'd like to use other mods as well.

If you'd like to play multiplayer with your friends, be sure to download the "server" option in the downloads tab! This is an executable jar file that will start a server up, and runs almost exactly like a vanilla b1.7.3 server. You'll also need the client, which is what you add to the b1.7.3 instance in your launcher.

We have a discord server if you're interested in keeping up with development (and getting fast access to the latest versions), and there are several trailers up on youtube if you'd like to see some of the new features in action. Recobbled makes far too many changes to be able to list them all, but here are some notable ones:

-New generation features like coral and ice deserts

-New machines, like the lamp and freezer

-New monsters to fight, especially in the nether

-New materials for tools, and special uses for gold equipment

-Several quality of life adjustments like shift-placing, armor repairing, and FOV adjustment
