Better Bees overhauls vanilla bee behavior while keeping the familiar Minecraft experience. Install on BOTH Server and Clients.

⚙️ Create Compatibility

Optional support for Create 6.0.10 on NeoForge 1.21.1.

• Deployers harvest bottles and honeycomb without disturbing bees, including on contraptions.
• Pipes extract 250 mB of honey per harvest, following your configured honey cost—no full hive needed.
• Hives moved by contraptions keep their bees and stored honey. Honey production pauses while assembled.

🐝 Bumblezone Compatibility

Optional support for The Bumblezone on Minecraft 1.21.1, with NeoForge, Fabric, and Quilt.

• Variant bees retain their identity when breeding and entering hives.
• Essence of the Bees protects harvesting without smoke.
• Comb Cutter bonuses work with honeycomb harvesting, including Create deployers.
• Flower Headwear, Wrath, and calming effects work with Better Bees’ AI.
• Compatible with Jade, and with Create on NeoForge.

⚙️ Configurable

Hive capacity, honey capacity, breeding, harvesting, flower scanning, and several AI settings can be adjusted through the server configuration.

💾 World Safety

Existing beehives and bee nests are upgraded in place. Better Bees does not replace them with custom blocks, and stored bees or excess honey are not deleted when configuration limits are lowered.
