Better Blades & Magic Mastery adds amulets that give you potion effects.  Find them in a new structure, or trade with a villager to get one!  The new swords will add a negative effect to your target.  Use these new weapons to kill The Cursed, a new boss, to get The Cursed Blade a new, probably too powerful, weapon.  You can use all the new items to become almost invincible to vanilla mobs and bosses!
