Description

Better Containers turns any container into the hub of a grouped storage network.
Open any chest, barrel, shulker box, furnace, or crafting table to get a side panel that aggregates the items of every connected container. You can search, filter by category, take items into the opened block or your inventory, and store items back again.
Features
Auto‑grouping — nearby unlabelled containers of the same kind join together automatically, chest to chest, barrel to barrel, shulker to shulker. Furnace and crafting‑table style blocks browse all nearby storage.
Named groups — press L in a container screen, or use the List row in the panel, to name a container and group boxes by label. Boxes outside a named group never see that group's items.
Search & filter — type to search, or filter by item category such as blocks, tools, armor, food, materials and other.
Take & store — click to take one stack, shift‑click to take all. Storing items respects each container's rules, furnace fuel goes into the fuel slot, brewing stands take their inputs, and so on.
Vanilla look — pure vanilla menus and screens with an injected side panel, no new UI theme.
Server‑authoritative — all item movement happens on the server and is validated, safe for multiplayer.
Fully configurable — group size, scan radius, page size, and which blocks show the panel are all adjustable in the config file.
