About

Description

This datapack/mod a full rewrite of my older datapack Higher Nether Roof-256 blocks (outdated) which was one of the first ever datapacks that made the Nether higher than 128 blocks (yes, even before Starmute made his 1.18 Amplified Nether datapack/mod).

I've spent the last month working this mod/datapack and making it absolutely perfect. Unlike the old version this one is fully glitchless and works perfectly with Minecraft 1.19+. This version also contains a different world generation so the nether will look amazing.

I personally suggest using either the 192 block version or the 256 block version but there are other ones as well. This is because the higher you go the worse performance you get and it also makes the world file a lot bigger.

The backport is not perfect but the generation is basically the same although the same seed will be completely different (only in terms of terrain not biomes)

WARNING: If you are using a varaint which makes the nether higher than 256 blocks you risk losing everything built/generated higher than 256 blocks when updating or removing the mod/datapack. If you wish to update your world/remove the datapack without riksing this you have to use a datapack which modifies the nether world height.

If you want to support me you can leave a comment, share it with your friends or showcase it in a video. : )

Check out my other datapacks.

The 1.18/1.18.1 backport for Fabric is giving me some problems. You can use the datapack version for now.

Currently the only way to play with this on forge is to use the datapack version.

If any of you wish to help me to port it to forge please contact me on PlanetMinecraft. My username is Gaming_Crew

I will publish a datapack/mod which does that every time a new incompatible version comes out.
