Description

Better Death

Better Death enhances Minecraft’s death screen with a clean, informative summary of what happened—without clutter or unnecessary buttons.

  • players are shown a helpful overview of their last moments.

Features:

  • Displays your last death location (X, Y, Z + dimension)
  • Shows your inventory at time of death
  • Clean, minimal info card
  • Fully Client side and no dependency mods!
  • Hardcore mode if you die it will say "Game Over"

Purpose

Designed to help players:

  • Identify and recall exactly what you had on you on death.
  • Remember where you died !
  • Reduce frustration after death!

Keep immersion intact!

No shortcuts. No clutter. Just clarity.

minimaps and other mods are nice and all but this keeps that QoL Vanilla feel without stepping out of the comfortzone.

  • Currently for 1.21.1 More could come available with time and need/requests
  • Works on singleplayer and multiplayer
  • Lightweight and performance-friendly
