About
Description
Reworks the relationship between Compasses and Lodestones, allowing you to bind a single Compass to multiple Lodestones.
Simply right click a Lodestone as before and the Lodestone will be bound to the Compass. Sneak + Right Clicking with the compass in hand will cycle to the next Lodestone it is bound to. You can right click the Lodestone with the Compass again to unbind it. Crafting with the Compass will also unbind it from the currently selected Lodestone.
This mod also modifies the recipe for Lodestones to be in-line with 1.21.5 where the recipe costs an Iron Ingot instead of a Netherite Ingot (configurable). You can also specify a maximum amount of Lodestones a Compass can bind to in the configuration, with 0 (no limit) being the default. This mod also moves the Advancement related to Lodestones out of the 'Nether' tab and into 'Adventure' to better reflect the recipe change.
A single Compass can be bound to Lodestones in multiple different Dimensions.
The remainder of the behavior is in-line with the Vanilla game, breaking a Lodestone will cause the Compass to spin around randomly, although it can be replaced.
Older already existing Lodestone Compasses will be updated to this new system on Player join/interaction.
