Tired of flat, lifeless skies? Better Skies gives Minecraft’s atmosphere the upgrade it deserves while staying true to the game’s iconic style!

Layered 3D Clouds & Dynamic Weather: Clouds are no longer just a flat texture; They now have depth and layers, making the sky feel more alive. They even darken when it rains, adding to the atmosphere. In addition, new rain and thunder sounds make storms feel heavier and more immersive. Rain and snow particles have also been revamped, making precipitation look smoother and more natural.

A Sun & Moon That Actually Move: The sun and moon aren’t just textures anymore; they’re fully 3D and animated, slowly rotating as time passes. It’s subtle but makes a big difference when watching the sky change.

Richer Colors & A Reimagined End Sky: The sky has a deeper, more vibrant color palette, making sunsets and sunrises look incredible. And if you spend time in the End, you’ll notice its sky now matches the portal’s swirling hues, making everything feel more connected.

Shader Friendly & Future Updates: Yes, it’s shader compatible, so you can pair it with your favorite visual enhancements. Plus, a config menu is in the works, so you’ll be able to customize your sky in the next update! The mod is still in beta, so expect a few bugs, but Fabric support and more versions are coming soon.
