Bewitchment Legacy Reforged is an unofficial fork and continuation of the classic Bewitchment Legacy mod.

This project is based specifically on a version of the original Bewitchment Legacy source code that was released under the MIT License.

What is different from the original?

Bewitchment Legacy Reforged exists to bring the original Bewitchment Legacy experience to newer versions of Minecraft.

The project focuses on:

Porting Bewitchment Legacy to newer Minecraft versions

Updating the code for newer Forge and NeoForge APIs

Fixing bugs and compatibility problems

Replacing or updating systems that no longer work on newer Minecraft versions

Preserving the original gameplay, progression, atmosphere, mechanics and content as closely as possible

This is intended to remain a Legacy edition. It is not planned to receive major new gameplay content; development will primarily focus on ports, compatibility updates and bug fixes.

Bewitchment Legacy Reforged retains the features that made the original mod unique, including witchcraft, rituals, curses, demons, familiars, magical progression and other occult-themed content.

This project is still being ported to newer Minecraft versions, so bugs may occur.

Ports to newer Minecraft versions will take time, so please be patient while development continues.
