Getting Started
In creative mode, you can get started building with Billund by checking out its tab in the creative inventory, the only limit is your imagination! In survival, things are a little more complicated: First, obtain a Billund Order Form (they can be found by killing and looting zombies), then save up your emeralds and order your first Billund set. Mind your head, as it will be airdropped from the sky above you!
Colored Bricks
Sometimes the 16 colors that are offered by default just don't cut it. That's why bricks can be dyed any color you can think of. Bricks can be dyed in one of two ways. Either place one in a crafting grid with any dye, and the brick will be dyed to that dye's color. Alternatively, you can right-click on a brick in world with a dye. Unlike the crafting grid method, this will ADD the dyes color to the existing color of the brick, allowing for far more color combinations.
Special Bricks
While placing down normal bricks is cool and all, they can only do so much, and they may not exactly fit with your grand design. That's why I've added some special kinds of bricks that can do some nifty things.
Illuminated Bricks
These bricks do two things. First, they ignore the world brightness so they're highly visible at night, and they also emit light when placed in the world.
They can be crafted by placing any brick in a crafting grid, along with a piece of glowstone dust.
Transparent Bricks
These are quite similar to normal bricks, but they're slightly transparent, making them great for windows!
They can be crafted by placing any brick in a crafting grid, along with a piece of glass.
Smooth Bricks
Sometimes you want a smooth decorative surface, without all those pesky studs to step on. These bricks do just that! The only downside is because they don't have studs on top, you cannot directly place other bricks on top of them.
They can be crafted by placing any brick in a crafting grid, along with a piece of smooth stone.
