SPOILER ALERT AND ABOUT THE MOD
BINNY — A Psychological Horror Experience
Binny is a psychological horror mod for Minecraft 1.20.1 Fabric built around time, isolation, strange events, hidden structures, and the feeling that something in your world is watching you.
This is not a traditional horror mod based only on constant jumpscares or overpowered monsters. Binny is designed to slowly change the atmosphere of a normal Minecraft world. At first, everything may seem ordinary. As you continue playing, however, unusual events begin to happen. Sounds appear where they should not. Time behaves incorrectly. Structures can be discovered in unexpected places. The world begins to feel less predictable, and eventually the player becomes part of a much larger story.
The mod contains a complete progression system with custom entities, animated cinematic sequences, environmental horror events, unique locations, collectible materials, an alternate dimension, scripted encounters and multiple endings.
The main character, Binny, is directly connected to the strange behavior of time. His appearances are deliberately limited so that encountering him feels meaningful rather than random. Sometimes the player may experience events without Binny appearing at all, making it unclear whether he is responsible for what is happening or whether something much larger is affecting the world.
One of the core mechanics of the mod is the Time Broken system. During certain moments, time itself can suddenly stop. The player becomes unable to move, the camera is locked, mobs and world activity stop, particles freeze and all sounds disappear. The words “TIME BROKEN” appear on screen while the world remains completely silent. As the story progresses, these time freezes become longer, creating the feeling that reality itself is becoming increasingly unstable.
Binny also includes randomly generated horror events. These events are designed to interrupt normal survival gameplay without completely taking control away from the player. You may hear distant sounds, experience visual disturbances, notice strange activity around you, or encounter moments where the world simply does not behave as expected. Not every event has an immediate explanation.
Exploration is an important part of the experience. Several custom structures can naturally appear throughout the world. Some structures are simply part of the mystery, while others are directly connected to progression and the endings of the story.
The player can discover three important materials:
Titanium, Copper and Uranium.
These materials are connected to special structures hidden throughout the world. Finding all three allows the player to continue toward the main ending path and uncover more of what is happening.
A mysterious machine located inside one of the important structures can react to these materials. Activating it begins a cinematic sequence involving Binny, a strange black chamber and the collapse of the world around the player.
The mod contains multiple endings, including a main Good Ending path and a darker Bad Ending / canon path. Each ending contains its own cinematic sequence, dialogue, animations, sound design and final sequence. Player choices, exploration and progression determine which parts of the story are discovered.
The Bad Ending focuses heavily on the theme of stopped time. During the cinematic, Binny directly addresses the player and reveals that the player may have misunderstood what was actually happening whenever time stopped.
The Good Ending follows a different route involving exploration, the three materials and the mysterious machine. It contains its own fully scripted cinematic sequence where Binny confronts the player before disappearing as the surrounding world begins to collapse.
There is also a completely separate dimension known as Infinity.
Infinity is an unnatural space connected to Binny and the deeper story of the mod. It contains its own ambience, atmosphere and scripted progression. Spending enough time inside Infinity can eventually lead to a major cinematic encounter involving Binny and Collar.
The Binny vs. Collar sequence includes custom GeckoLib animations, dialogue, movement, attacks, impacts and a complete scripted fight. The player watches the encounter while the story between the two characters develops. This sequence is designed more like a cinematic boss encounter than a standard Minecraft mob fight.
Both Binny and Collar use custom models, textures and animations created specifically for the mod. Animations include idle movement, walking, attacks, hit reactions, cinematic poses and special sequences used during the endings and Infinity encounter.
Audio is also an important part of Binny. The mod contains custom dialogue recordings, environmental ambience, low-frequency horror sounds, distant metallic noises, impact sounds and cinematic voice sequences. Some scenes synchronize dialogue, animations and Minecraft chat messages to create a more story-driven experience.
Binny is intended primarily as a single-player psychological horror experience. Playing without spoilers is strongly recommended. Many events are more effective when the player does not know exactly when or why they will happen.

Mod Loader: Fabric
Fabric API: Required
GeckoLib: Required
Binny was designed specifically around Minecraft 1.20.1 and may not function correctly on other versions.
Recommended Way to Play
For the intended experience, create a new survival world and avoid using commands, spectator mode or external guides. Explore naturally, pay attention to unusual structures and sounds, and do not assume that every strange event is random.
Some events may take time to appear.
Sometimes nothing happening is part of the experience.
Sometimes time itself is the warning.
You may think you are alone.
You may think the world is still normal.
You may even think you understand what happens when time stops.
But something is still moving.
And Binny is watching.
This is not the end. 👁️
