About

Description

Biome Runestone is a mod centered around rune gates for teleportation between biomes. The main goal is to let players quickly travel to a specific biome or a random spot in the same biome in the overworld using different types of biome runestones.

Player Overview:

  • Build the same rune gate frame.
  • Place the same type of biome runestone in all four corners of the gate frame.
  • Enter the rune gate to teleport to a safe spot in the corresponding biome.

Three Types of Biome Runestones:

  • Normal Biome Runestone: Teleports to a usable spot in the target biome, good for consistent travel.
  • Random Biome Runestone: Each time it refreshes a new target location within the same biome, supports a fixed refresh window (default 5 seconds) and a minimum distance interval (default 1000 blocks).
  • Player Biome Runestone: Locks the destination to a "player." The first time each player teleports, their coordinates are recorded, and afterward, entering any gate of the same type will return them to their own fixed spot.

Conditions for Successful Teleportation:

  • Only works in the overworld.
  • All four corners must be the same type of Biome Runestone.
  • Mixing different runestones in the corners will not be recognized as a biome gate by this mod.

Safe Landing Rules:

  • The landing spot must be outdoors (sky visible above).
  • Player's foot height must be Y >= 65.
  • The block underfoot cannot be a liquid.
  • Foot and head positions must be standable (not blocked).
