Description
Are you sick of the same old diamond armor? Armor trims not exciting enough anymore? Do you want to look GOOD for once? Well then boy howdy is this mod for you.
Bird Muncher's Cosmetics Closet is a mod that quite simply adds a metric ton of cool, interesting, and diverse armors to the game. These armors have no special effects on their own, making them perfectly vanilla friendly, but also all have seperate IDs, meaning you can use them with mods like Armor Set Bonuses to make them more exciting. Eventually I will be adding a config so you can tweak all damage and data values on your own, but for now please just use kubjs.
All of the armors are designed to compatible, meaning you can mix-and-match. While the mod is currently quite rough around the edges, I aim to make this mod a one-stop-shop for any kind of cosmetics you (well, I) might need, including dyes/tints, accessories, and full stat configuration.
Need some cool outfits for a multiplayer server? Then this mod is for you. Need some diverse armor sets for your modpack? Then again, this mod is for you. Don't need any of those things? Well, you can install it anyways, because they don't have crazy stats and won't mess up the game at all.
In addition, if you like the look of any of these armor sets, but don't want to install a whole extra mod, please message me and chances are I'll be okay with you copying it! Modding is supposed to be a community, and copyright laws are for dipsticks.
Stuff I would like feedback on:
- Did I screw up any textures (probably)
- Do you have any cool armor/accessory ideas? I wanna hear em
- Did I screw up any recipes (probably)
- What would make this mod more helpful/configurable?
Technical data for nerds:
The armors in this mod are currently seperated into three tiers, being ARMOR_LIGHT, ARMOR_MEDIUM, and ARMOR_HEAVY. While they currently all have the same stats, you can tweak those tiers with KubeJS quite easily. This is a rudimentary system, and one that I'll eventually replace.
