Overview

Black Lung is a mod which increases the difficulty of mining coal and a few other things.

It adds:

1 New Item

2 New Blocks

3 New Effects

3 New Potions

Items

Gas Mask

- Stops the Player from getting The Black Lung effect when mining Coal

- It DOES NOT remove The Black Lung effect if the Player already has the effect

- Greatly reduces the Player's vision

Blocks

Coal Dust

- Slows the Player's movement when walked on

- Is coughed up when the Player has The Black Lung effect

- Can be crafted into coal with one Coal Dust

Ender Dust

- Slows the Player's movement when walked on

- Is coughed up when the Player has The Ender Lung effect

- Can be crafted into an ender pearl with nine Ender Dust

Effects

Strong Lungs

- Effect is only obtainable via potion

- Removes the effects of The Black Lung and The Ender Lung instantly

The Black Lung

- Caused by mining coal with no breathing protection

- Continuously damages the Player until the effect is removed

- Makes the Player cough up Coal Dust

The Ender Lung

- Caused by getting attacked by a mob from The End with no breathing protection

- Continuously damages the Player until the effect is removed

- Makes the Player cough up Ender Dust

Potions

Potion of Strong Lungs

- Gives the Player Strong Lungs

- Lasts for 12 minutes

- Made with brewing a Pufferfish with a Thick Potion

- Comes with Splash, Lingering and Arrow Variants

Potion of The Black Lung

- Gives the Player The Black Lung

- Lasts for 30 seconds

- Made with brewing Coal with a Thick Potion

- Comes with Splash, Lingering and Arrow Variants

Potion of The Ender Lung

- Gives the Player The Ender Lung

- Lasts for 30 seconds

- Made with brewing an Enderpearl with a Thick Potion

- Comes with Splash, Lingering and Arrow Variants

Config

- Adjustable chance for succumbing to Black Lung (Bigger number = Bigger Chance of getting it)

- Disable or Enable coughing up Coal Dust

- Disable or Enable coughing up Ender Dust

• Stops the Player from getting The Black Lung effect when mining Coal

• It DOES NOT remove The Black Lung effect if the Player already has the effect

• The coughing may call something unwanted

• Gives the Player Strong Lungs

• Disable or Enable coughing up Coal Dust

• Disable or Enable spawning the Warden

• Adjustable chance for succumbing to Black Lung

• Adjustable chance for summoning The Warden

• Adjust the Sculk Lung Cooldown Length
