Description

*Welcome to Blizzarity, the dimension of eternal winter and frost. This place used to be much more peaceful hundreds of years ago. But I'd say it's pretty cool.

logo

This mod mainly adds 1 dimension - Blizzarity, around which many other stuff is concentrated.

Overall this mod offers:

  • A lot of stuff

Early game

First of all, you need to find snow biomes, that will have ice blocks generated (Frozen Ocean, Deep Frozen Ocean, Ice Spikes or Frozen Peaks biomes are recommended). When you find required biome, you will need to break as much ice, as you can. Now ice drops ice cubes, stronger ice blocks will drop more ice cubes (Frosted Ice - 2-4; Ice - 4-6; Packed Ice - 6-12; Blue Ice - 24-32). After getting 9 Blue Ice blocks, you will be able to craft Deep Freeze block, you will need 4 of them. Tutorial 1 After getting enough Frostallic Frames, you will be able to make a portal. After that you will need to craft Frost Chiller to activate the portal. Tutorial 2 Congratulations! You can now travel to Blizzarity!

Mid game

Now, when you're in Blizzarity, you need to be very careful, Blizzarity is teeming with hostile entities and you constantly get Frostbite status effect. It will be almost impossible to survive without suitable equipment.

First thing you might want to do is to find Congel's base. It looks like this: Tutorial 3 The building doesn't have an enterance and you can't break the blocks of this structure, but you can break the crack in one of the walls. Once you get in and come down the stairs, you will find Congel - the last sentient being left to die here.

When you will right click on her, you will start to talk with her. After that you will be able to open up her menu, you can buy some of her stuff, sell something to her and just talk. pure swag

Loyality

The most important mechanic in this mod is Loyality. Firstly Congel won't offer all the things in the store and won't say everything she knows, but the more you sell and buy things, the more she will trust you.

I'm not going to tell everything about her, go find out for yourself.

You can also check Congel's loyality with /loyality get [username] command.

Late game

At certain point, Congel will give you Ancient Key. It opens a door to the final structure - The Sealer. It has multiple floors going down. Your goal here is to roam and find keys. The Sealer has 2 types of keys:

  • Ancient Key - Opens Ancient Freeze Locks with normal keyholes
  • Ancient Superkey (I just like to call it like that) - Opens Ancient Freeze Superlocks. They have snowflake-shaped keyholes.

The Sealer

Once you get to the bottom, you will be able to fight with the final boss. You better be prepared.

Other stuff

The mod has a decent amount of hidden stuff, most of it is related to Congel and her loyality.

You can also have multiple ways to avoid Frostbite status effect:

  • The easiest way is to have lots of light sources, like torches, lanterns and etc
  • Craft cups with hot chocolate, it will reduce some amount of Frostbite (bitter - 15%; dark - 20%; milk - 25%; white - 30%)
  • Craft cups with hot milk. It will remove all status effects, except for Fear and Frostbite. Also it will remove 20% of Frostbite status effect
  • Craft Thermal Lantern. It will protect you from Frostbite, when you're holding it. It lasts for around 15 minutes, before breaking

Zombies, when they get to Blizzarity, start to freeze and at certain point, they turn into Frostbitten. Same happens to Skeletons, but they turn into Strays.
