Block Reader

Block Reader is a client-side accessibility mod for visually impaired Minecraft players. It reads out the block, entity, UI element, or inventory item currently under your crosshair or mouse cursor.

  • Reads targeted blocks and entities
  • Reads hovered UI elements and inventory items
  • Low-latency reading mode using Minecraft's built-in narrator
  • Optional system TTS mode with custom voices and speech rate control
  • Follows the selected Minecraft language for names and messages
  • Separate toggles for pointed blocks, entities, UI, and inventory contents
  • Cloth Config settings screen
  • Default J keybind to open settings based on Cloth Config
