About

Description

Blocklet

Turn any Minecraft block into your personal pet.

Blocklet is a 100% client-side Minecraft mod that lets you choose any registered block as a floating companion.

It can follow you over your shoulder, orbit around you, or simply hover wherever you leave it. Customize its movement, appearance, lighting, sounds, reactions, and performance with 100+ settings.

And the best part?

The server never knows it exists.

Blocklet does not spawn an entity, does not send packets, and has no hitbox. Your pet is rendered entirely on your client, making it compatible with virtually any multiplayer server — including vanilla servers, Paper/Spigot, minigame networks, and Realms.

Your pet. Your client. Your rules.

Pet

✨ Features

🧱 Any Block Can Be Your Pet

Choose from a searchable, paginated list containing every registered block in the game.

That includes:

  • Vanilla blocks
  • Modded blocks
  • Decorative blocks
  • Functional blocks
  • Naturally glowing blocks

If the block exists in your game, you can use it as your pet.

🐾 Three Behaviour Modes

Choose how your pet moves:

Following Floats near your left shoulder and smoothly follows you with a natural lag-behind effect.

Orbiting Circles around you with customizable radius and speed.

Hovering Stays exactly where you summoned it, with optional floating animations.

💡 Dynamic Lighting

Make your pet actually illuminate the world around it.

Blocklet provides client-side dynamic lighting with a configurable brightness level from 0–15.

Naturally luminous blocks such as Glowstone, Sea Lanterns, and Shroomlights automatically glow according to their properties.

No server-side lighting changes are made.

🎨 Deep Customization

Blocklet comes with 100+ configuration options divided into four categories:

Category Options
Physics Behaviour mode, follow distance, shoulder offset, smoothing, lag-behind, dead zone, catch-up boost, orbit radius/speed, hover motion
Visuals Size, per-axis scale, opacity, RGB tint, rotation, tilt, pulse, weave, bobbing, glow, distance fade
Interaction Chat greetings, prefixes, summon/hide/movement/idle sounds, volume, pitch, proximity reactions
Performance Render distance, simulation rate, lighting settings, shader compatibility, FPS guard, low-detail mode, automatic hiding

Every tab includes a Reset tab button.

⚡ Smooth by Design

Blocklet isn't simply teleported behind you every frame.

Its movement uses fixed-timestep physics with render interpolation, producing smooth motion even at different FPS levels.

Your pet naturally trails behind you instead of snapping from position to position.

You can also control how strong and soft that lag-behind effect feels.

🎮 Simple Controls

Action Default key
Show / hide pet B

The key can be changed at any time.

You can rebind it through the normal Minecraft controls menu:

Or directly from your inventory:

No need to leave your world.

🌐 Multiplayer Friendly

Blocklet is designed specifically to work on multiplayer servers.

The pet:

  • ❌ Does not create an entity
  • ❌ Does not have a hitbox
  • ❌ Does not send packets
  • ❌ Does not modify the server world
  • ❌ Does not interact with server-side gameplay

Everything happens on your client.

This means other players cannot see your pet unless they are somehow viewing your client.

It also cannot interfere with:

  • PvP
  • Block breaking
  • Block placing
  • Projectiles
  • Server entities

Think of it as a visual effect that only exists for you.

🛠️ Configuration

All settings are saved automatically to:

❓ FAQ

Can other players see my pet?

No.

The pet is rendered exclusively on your client. Other players and the server have no knowledge of it.

Does Blocklet spawn an entity?

No.

There is no Minecraft entity behind the pet.

Does the pet have a hitbox?

No.

It cannot block attacks, projectiles, block interaction, or movement.

Does it send packets?

No.

Blocklet does not need to communicate with the server to display your pet.

Can I use it on multiplayer servers?

Yes.

Because the pet is completely client-side, it can be used on vanilla servers, Paper/Spigot servers, minigame networks, and Realms.

Always follow the rules of the server you're playing on.

Will anti-cheat detect it?

Blocklet does not send gameplay packets or create server-side entities. It is purely visual and works entirely on your client.

However, server rules always take priority. If a server prohibits client-side visual mods, follow that server's rules.

Does the dynamic lighting work on servers?

Yes.

The lighting is applied only to your own client's lighting system. It does not change the server world.

Does it work with shaders?

Generally, yes.

If your shader handles lighting itself, enable Shader compatibility mode in the Performance settings.

Can I use modded blocks?

Yes.

Blocklet displays registered blocks from your game, including blocks added by other mods.

🐾 Your World. Your Block. Your Pet.

No entity. No packets. No server installation. Just your block pet.
