About

Description

This mod includes:

  • 8 different colours of tile with ideas on how you might use them
  • 2 different types of die - a basic movement one and one for rolling special actions (Note: Holding multiple movement dice will roll all of them and combine their results)
  • 2 different wheels and 3 different decks of cards, all for randomising rewards, punishments and challenges
  • A card box to store the different results you would like the wheels or decks to deal out (Note: To use wheels and decks, they must just sit on top of somesort of container holding the different options you want, the card box is just an example one, so chests and barrels will still work)
  • 5 different types of consumable item you could choose to implement into your board game
  • An item box to randomly distribute items to those needing them (Note: The items added in this mod are not required to be used, and can be substituted for any other normal item)
  • 3 different player character pieces, being the peanut butter, lightbulb and donut (Note: These can obviously be substituted for any othe block in the game)
  • An optional guide pole block to point your players in the right direction

If you would like to play my version of the board game, use my reccommended tile and item rules, fill the item box with two of each item and follow these gamerules:

Turn Actions:

  1. Choose if you would like to use an item
  2. Roll 2 basic dice (3 if you have the extra die effect) and move that many tiles
  3. Apply any effects of the tile
  4. Get a second chance to use an item (not available if item has already been used this turn)
  5. Roll the special die to get a special effect

Possible Special Effects:

Shield - Block all negative effects played against you until your next turn

Trap - Any players that land on your tile lose their next turn

Item - Obtain a free item

Extra Die - Roll an extra die on your next turn

None - No special effect

Star - Draw a special effect card from the star deck

Fill the card boxes beneath the decks and wheels with whatever cards you may want.

Make the game board a line of random tiles starting with a white tile labelled 'START HERE' and ending with one laballed 'FINISH LINE'.

Have fun!
