Bobbles
Features
This mod introduces a variety of customizations for your View Bobbing setting. Currently, we include options like:
- View Bobbing - This option controls whether View Bobbing is on or off. (Default: On)
- Screen Bobbing - This option controls whether your screen wobbles as you move. (Default: Off)
- Multiplier - This option controls the strength of Screen Bobbing (Default: 1.0)
Incompatibilities
This mod may not function properly with any mod that changes the Video Settings or Accessibility Settings screens. I plan to fix this in the future, starting with Sodium.
How to Install
- Download the version of your choice from the Mod Downloads page.
- Download any Fabric API version as long as it corresponds to the game version of this mod.
- Copy the downloaded mods and visit your Minecraft Folder. The location and name of this folder will vary depending on your Operating System, but you can locate it using the Minecraft Wiki.
- From there, you are going to enter your mods folder and paste.
- (Optional) Launch Minecraft to prepare the configuration file if you prefer to customize using that. Have fun!
How to Configure
In-Game UI (Recommended)
- Go to the Options screen via the Title Screen or through a World/Server.
- Enter the Video Settings or Accessibility Settings screen. (Only Accessibility Settings 1.21.11+)
- Scroll all the way down and select View Bobbing. This will take you to the configuration screen.

File Editing (Advanced)
- Visit your Minecraft Folder. The location and name of this folder will vary depending on your Operating System, but you can locate it using the Minecraft Wiki.
- Assuming that you already ran Minecraft with the mod installed once, you should see a config folder. Enter this folder.
- Once you're in, open bobbles.json in your preferred Text Editor. Here, you can change view_bobbing and screen_bobbing to boolean values or screen_bobbing_multiplier to a float value ranging from 0.5 to 2.0.
