About

Description

This mod's only purpose is to play the boowomp sound effect whenever you break a block with the wrong tool and do not get the drop from it. It is NOT required on the server and will work if it installed on only the client; however, installing the mod on the server is recommended as it will play the sound in the world at the position of the broken block, allowing other nearby players to hear that a player has made a poor life choice.

The sound file can be replaced via resourcepack! This is the file path to put the sound at if you wish to do so:

assets/boowomp/sounds/failed_block_harvest.ogg

The mod also has a registered subtitle for the sound event, which defaults to "Boowomp". Should you wish to change this, the path is as follows:

assets/boowomp/lang/en_us.json

with the entry:

{
  "boowomp.subtitle.failed_block_harvest": "Boowomp"
}
