Description

Welcome to Bounds & Beyonds!

This is my first ever mod, and I want to make it grow and let others have access to it. This mod is meant to remove the need for a lot of mods and dependencies and, in one mod, add what normally takes multiple mods to add!

This mod adds: (AS OF THE LATEST RELEASE FOR 1.20.1, V.1.2.0)

  • Biomes (Custom & Vanilla+)
  • New Wood Sets (7 of them!)
  • New Effects and Potions (Density and Hydrophobia!)

Wood Sets Added:

  • Akhdar: A long-awaited and widely desired green wood, named after the Arabic word for 'green'.
  • Gloam: A set inspired by real world Purpleheart wood – this is a purple wood set!
  • Voidhearth: This is the black wood set! Finally, a dark wood is brought to the game that isn't brownish!
  • Caleum: A bold, sea-blue, vibrant blue wood set, reminiscent of the deep ocean! No, this doesn't grow underwater!
  • Willow: This is a white wood set! Maybe slightly greyish; I hope you don't mind!
  • Bloodbark: This is a red wood set! Just as the name says, it's... bloody red. Hopefully not your blood!
  • Goldthorn: This is a gold wood set! And no, it does not damage you, it doesn't have real thorns.

Effects Added

  1. Density: This increases the gravity for mobs, preventing the target from jumping up even a block! In water, you sink! This also gives penalties to multiple types of speed and even horse-jump strength! This is the opposite of levitation, jump boost and slow falling that are missing from the game!
  2. Hydrophobia: Ever wished to be an Enderman? No? Well, too bad! You are not allergic to all water, whether it be water blocks, bubble columns or rain! Take shelter and stay dry! This is the opposite of water breathing, dolphin grace and conduit power!
  3. Cold Resistance: This stops you from freezing OR dying to freezing damage! No more dying to powdered snow!
  4. Levitation: You already know what this is. Shocking Minecraft didn't already have a potion for this!
  5. Halt: This causes both mobs and players to be slowed down. May only make players extremely slow, but freezes almost every mob in place. (NOT TESTED AGAINST BOSSES APART FROM WARDEN)

Materials: (ONLY AS OF THE V.1.2.0)

Ores:

  • Zinc
  • Lead (Watch out!)
  • Aluminium (Can you find out the cool?)
  • Cobalt
  • Nickel
  • Tin

Alloys:

  • Bronze
  • Brass
  • Invar

If you find anything that you may think is a bug or seems out of place, like a tree spawning in water, please leave a comment for me to know.

Please excuse the image quality for some of them, as CurseForge's 2MB limit for images meant I had to lower their quality.
