Bricksanity!

this mod adds a bunch of bricks to the game, maybe too many.

Bricksanity!
[Current Version]
Version 1.1.0 is the current version
Halloween '25 "event" is here!
Halloween '25 updates will go on for the first 3 weeks of November
The Halloween '25 Updates are coming soon, it'll start on October 31st but continue for a few more weeks which means there may be some more than just base material bricks added.
Also at the end, there'll be the Golden Pumpkin Brick if the update does well and if not, well... guess there's next spooky event, I do plan to actually add some brick mobs during this event thing, so Brick Bats may be added along with Hauntrr Bricks but that's if I actually end up doing it.
The models should be easy enough to do since it'll just be a rectangle with some extra features, but that's it, another feature I could add at any time if requested is a white pumpkin brick!
Expect at-least a decent amount of content from those weeks of updates since I would like to add quite a bit to it, specifically for the overworld which could introduce some more unique brick mechanics and such but I have no clue what I'll add but I know it'll be a nice amount of stuff (even if it'd have no current use) but I do want to add something spooky to this too so swords would be added.
Read the Changelog for individual updates
If you want to know what was added in each update, check the changelogs as none of it will be written on the description here, since that'd be too much at somepoint.
Upcoming Updates
The Brickquatic Update is another update that may potentially be added in the future.
The Brickgriculture Update is the next update in which will allow you to plant Seed Bricks whilst also adding more seed bricks unrelated to the Halloween '25 updates, this update will focus solely on adding some brick crops, whilst also starting the introduction for hybrid bricks between crops.
The Void & The Sky is a proposed update in which makes even the sky, clouds and sun, brickvertable along with the moon, but it's uncertain if how the sky elements would work in terms of turning those into bricks, so new interactions might need to be made to make this possible.
Bricks so far and other additions:
There's a brick for many raw and cooked meat such as Chicken, Porkchop, Mutton, Beef & Rabbit, there's also individual bricks for most of the existing brick blocks that don't have individual bricks normally.
The Brickversion Station is used to convert base materials into bricks, this includes Dirt, Sand, Clay, Gravel, Flint, Oak Logs and many Raw Meats along with Buckets & Bottles O' Enchanting, most of which follow the base material criteria of being found naturally and usually not having an alternative way to obtain it along with not being craftable.
Few Exceptions actually include the Flower Pot which is temporary, Clay in which could be obtained in an alternative way but meets the other 2 criteria and Buckets because they're containers that can contain water, lava, milk & powder snow, which means Buckets are the only item to permanently break all 3 criteria and still be considered a base material due to ingredients being gotten with it.
There's some Consumable Bricks in which include all meats, Cake & Bread with only the Bread Brick being obtainable, there's also some other craftable bricks which include Oak Planks Bricks, Stick Bricks, Paper Bricks & Arrow Bricks, all bricks follow recipes but are just bricks only instead.
Plans for the future of this mod;
I do plan on adding more bricks, such as the Dirt Bricks block, some Snow Bricks, Mob Bricks and whatever else in the game exists and I'll turn it into a brick, even Ice or Snow, lava or armor, even potentially liquid.
I don't know what bricks I'll add next but I'm sure that nothing can stop this Bricksanity, I think I'll just start by adding Dirt Bricks & Purpur Bricks in the next update.
Would Sky Bricks & Cloud Bricks work? who knows... I just know this mod will be all about Bricks!
the Agrilculture Update would allow you to grow, farm and harvest several bricks, from seeds to many other plants, and possibly even mixing them into new plants via a new machine (Brixer probably - Brick + Mixer) that allows you to mix bricks together into new bricks, otherwise you can just make various mixed brick blocks by crafting it with multiple bricks of different kinds.
Brickvancements would be a thing for this mod, because everything must be bricks... so I thought there should be advancements for this mod all about them!
Introducing Bricksanity!
[image will be added later when made]
{Version 1.1.2 is the most recent version)
[Note: versions below 1.0.3 were uploaded for consistency]
This mod adds an aggregious amount of bricks, from singular bricks to food item bricks and even bucket bricks, there's no limit as to how many bricks will eventually exist, there may not be many now but there will bricks of even the sky and void, nothing is safe from the Brickpocalypse! (idk, just having fun with it for now, until I think of a structure that works, this'll be the only mod here)
You ever think that most mods that have bricks don't ever add quite enough for you? do you want more bricks than is even needed? well this mod may be for you as it's updated often and has a ton of bricks, there are even plans for mixed bricks so you can have fun with that too!
Honestly though, if you feel like most mods with bricks never add enough to satisfy your hunger, this may very well be something you'd like.

Some of these bricks can't be obtained yet but they will be obtainable in the future. Also, most of these bricks have recipes, you can cook all raw bricks into cooked bricks (meat bricks) and also make Cake Bricks, and can craft planks bricks and stick bricks with the respective recipes!
I'm also planning on just adding more bricks than needed, also some of the bricks have unique shapes such as the Prismarine Brick, Stick Brick & Arrow Brick, the last 2 being skinnier than other bricks and the prismarine brick being triangular to match the block. Pumpkin Bricks also have a unique shape, looking a bit more like a pumpkin and less boxy, even if subtle! (same pumpkin brick shape applies to the Vilegourd bricks and other future pumpkin brick variants) Ectoplasm Bricks also have a unique shape, being more dented at the top to represent it not being the same solid as other bricks! (this applies to all other ectoplasm brick variants) Passive Ectoplasm Bricks & Passive Soul Biomass have different shapes to the rest of the Ectoplasm Bricks and Biomass in which differntiates them from the other variants. Torch Bricks have a unique shape in which has the torch part extending a bit and it's a different shape from the stick bricks, this is true for the Soul Torch Brick aswell!
You can craft almost every single brick block into singular bricks and back, some bricks still don't exist yet to convert some of these bricks into single bricks and back but it'll happen in a future update!
Freezing is done with blue ice for soul sand, this is how you get the Soulfrost Brick and the next step is Soul Fire to "haunt" it into a Soul Fire Brick. Portal Conversion is simple, just throw an item into the portal and it'll convert, but this is very specific, throw a Brick item into a nether portal to convert it into the corresponding portal brick.
Although there'll probably be more things like this in the future! note that freezing won't always require blue ice, only soul sand and soul-related objects need blue ice to freeze.
- [Note 1: the Void, Sky and other outrageous bricks are for much later in planning, not sure how to do it currently]
- [Note 2: The Description will change occassionally, not too often though]
- [Note 3: Events will always start on the day and usually end between 1-3 weeks after]
- [Note 4: Note that sometimes, textures will change for some of the items, but this is rare to happen anyways]
