Brig's Balanced Ores

    Brig's Balanced Ores aims to introduce additional scarcity into the game by decreasing the value of each ore block and by decreasing the amount of ore there is. It adds twelve new ores into the game as well as twelve new items. It replaces the vanilla ore recipes with recipes that are just a little bit harder to keep the player working longer.

    The mod adds in scarce ores, which drop raw nuggets, as well as rich ores, which drop hunks of ore. Hunks of ore replace vanilla raw ore in smelting and blasting recipes. These can be crafted using four raw ores in a 2x2 grid, which can be crafted with four raw nuggets in a 2x2 grid. This means that sixteen raw nuggets can effectively be smelted into an ingot. This also makes ingots roughly four times more expensive.
