Broodmother's Wrath

IMPORTANT:

BMW is a ~single player~ mod and is still in early development, and I have many improvements and additions planned. I do however, feel it's at a decent starting point. Please leave a comment with feedback as it's important for the mod to continue to improve!

About BMW:

With heavy inspiration from the classic "Spider Queen" mod, Broodmother's wrath allows the player to take on the role of a Broodmother/Spider Queen. Capture and harvest living mobs to fuel you broodlings growth as well as your own. Overpower and devour your enemies as you turn the world into your lair.

Some of the changes to come:

• All cocooned mobs to have unique models
• More "broodling" (spider) variations and improved models 
• More in-depth leveling and skill tree
• Unique mobs to fill out the world of BMW
• Many, many balancing changes
• Custom player model

Important Information and tips!

• You can become a Broodmother when spawning or by crafting a "Succession Altar" later on! (Keep in mind it requires crying obsidian and a Broodmother heart to create and to activate).
• Capture rate is determined by a mobs armour. The higher the armour, the more difficult it is.
• Increasing the "Strength" attribute increases capture rate. Increasing the "Regen" attribute increases web regen rate. Increasing the "Capacity" attribute increases web capacity.
• Killing or consuming mobs grants XP separately from the vanilla system.
• Unlocking "Mutations" allows for more variations of broodlings.
• The web projectile places a flat web on surfaces it hits, slowing all other mobs and giving you and your broodlings a speed boost.
• Holding shift while touching a web on a wall will make the player climb it, while on the ceiling the player can move around.
• Crafting 9 "Dense Web Blocks" and placing them in a 3x3 square, then right clicking the centre block will turn them into a bed which can be slept in. You can no longer sleep in normal beds while a Broodmother
• Right clicking a broodling with an empty hand will cycle commands to: Wander, Stay and Follow.
• Right clicking a broodling with an "Iron Scute" will give it a none-stackable small armour increase.
• Right clicking a "Succession Altar" with either an "Iron Slug Plate" or a "Spider Queen Eye" will give you a none-stackable permanent buff.
