EffectsHud

Keep active potion and status-effect timers visible in a compact text HUD.

Features

  • Effect names, remaining duration, and amplifier levels
  • Effects listed by duration
  • Different colors for beneficial and harmful effects
  • A color warning near expiry, with a configurable warning threshold
  • Settings to show or hide durations and amplifier levels

How to use

Active effects appear automatically after installation. Open Mod Menu → EffectsHud to adjust the display options and expiry warning.

The project previously used the name BuffTimer; the downloadable file and in-game mod are named EffectsHud.

Installation

Client-side Fabric mod. Choose a file marked for your Minecraft version. Requires Fabric Loader 0.17.2 or newer, Java 21, Fabric API, and YetAnotherConfigLib (YACL). Mod Menu is optional for opening settings.
