Description

bugout

Bug Out! is a Datapack/Resource Pack duo that reshapes the Bug-type to bring new life into the type by changing the stats of some Bug-types, give them new abilities and moves as well as some new typings. A total of 61 Bug-type Pokemon have been changed! The changelog is linked below.

Trapinch Line Trapinch, Vibrava and Flygon have had their types changed so they are now Ground/Bug (Trapinch), Dragon/Bug (Vibrava and Flygon) and while a lot of people will see this as controversial, i would like to give my reasoning.

I do not agree with people saying "They are dragonflys so they should be bug and dragon" and instead i view them as what they really are: Antlions. They are based on antlions which are bugs. Vibrava and Flygon already have the Dragon-type and it is more favorable than the Ground-type so it keeps that over ground. I have given Flygon the sand stream ability to reflect that it was once ground and to ensure the "Desert Spirit" title it has is kept in tact.

Type Chart Changes Bug Type is now supereffective against Grass, Dark, Psychic and Fairy!

Bug Type now resists Fighting, Ground and Fairy! It is no longer resisted by Ghost.

Bug Type is now weak to Fire, Flying and Poison! It is no longer weak to Rock.

This datapack doubles as a resource pack. In order for it to function properly you must place it in both the Resource Pack and Datapack Folders.

Your feedback is greatly appreciated!
